It's been ten years since Emma Swan fled her hometown. Almost eleven, if she's counting.
She's spent most of them ignoring phone calls and swearing never to return, not after the all the heartache that place had caused her -- but now she's twenty-nine, and maybe she's done running. Her son is ten years old now, he barely knows his grandparents. And so she lets them convince her to come home, only for a week.
As it turns out, seven days is plenty of time to dredge up all of the heartbreak from her past, especially when she runs head-first into her childhood best friend and almost-love.
