Summary
In a joint effort, the 141 is on loan to KorTac per special request from an unknown higher up in the PMC. Their goal is to infiltrate a gala and steal important intel to track down their targets. Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick is tasked with working with the odd and mysterious König, providing extra back up as well as somewhat of a distraction for their teammates so they can sneak past guards.
Gaz just wishes his "date" for the evening wasn't also the exact kind of man he normally goes for.

Gentle swells of the ocean rocked the small motorboat. Orange light reflected off the water and the skies were filled with bright reds, purples, and blues as the sun set. They'd been out here most of the day fishing and drinking. Ghost knelt picking up a little someone who found its way on board. He hummed watching the small octopus wrap its tentacles around his hand. The little reddish-brown creature seemed to look up at him through the torn holes in the thick fishnet it wore on its head.

Summary
Gaz likes to help out his captain in any way he can. He likes feeling useful, likes doing things rather than sitting around. He doesn't ask or expect a "thank you" from Price, and he doesn't usually receive one. All he gets is sometimes, Price will bring him pancakes for dinner. At first, Gaz just thinks Price is being friendly, or just straight up weird. But as Price makes pancakes more and more times, Gaz starts to suspect there's a more secret meaning behind the action.
