“A Tuesday doesn’t result in shattered teeth, Tim,” Dick sounds amused. Bruce’s son is only sixteen with an eternity of fanglessness in front of him, and Dick sounds amused.
“I was hoping it’d get better sooner rather than later, and I wouldn’t have to bring it up at all.”
Bruce and Dick share a look. Dick clears his throat. “Tim. Buddy,” he says very, very gently. “It’s not going to, uhh, get better.”
Or, vampire Tim shatters his fangs. Vampire dad Bruce tries to deal with it.

Summary
Tim considers the necklace in Bruce's hands, before narrowing his eyes. “This is for a girl,” he says flatly, and Bruce tries not to wince. Yes it is, but doesn’t Tim–? Has he misjudged the situation after all?
Useless words try to escape his mouth–‘It’s okay to be a girl, you know’ fighting with ‘Well, boys can wear pendants, too.’ None of them feel right and probably none of them are helpful.
“It was my mother’s,” Bruce says instead.
Or, Bruce notices a few things about his new Robin and tries to help in his own way.

Bucky feels a little guilty; she’s really worrying about him, isn’t she? “I know you won’t do anything as stupid as swearing your life on pancakes, but I know you and sometimes you’re so dumb that I just want to strangle you. Bucky's dog tags were folded in the crease of the paper he'd torn from his journal, reading: "Steve, here. You have them, if you want them. You have me, if you want me. I’ve never tried loving a man before but for you I’ve run headfirst into wars and Death’s wide, gaping jaws, so this is easy in comparison. This is like breathing."
It was so dark when Bucky handed him the note, the fire just burning out, and he glanced back only once to see Steve watching him as he walked away.

"You look like him," Bucky says. No prompting, no nothing. He just speaks, like this is a thing he does.
"What?" Steve asks. He didn’t really hear it, too stunned by the fact that words were coming out of Bucky’s mouth to understand their meaning.
"You look like him. So did Pierce." His voice is soft, gravelly from disuse. "Is that why they picked you?"
Steve’s heart plunges like an elevator with the cables cut. “Buck, it is me.”
The hard line of Bucky’s mouth softens just a little. “Sure,” he says.
