Summary
Katsuki is heir to the throne of her family’s powerful kingdom in Ancient Japan. Her girlfriend and childhood playmate, Izuku, is a powerful cat spirit who lives in the mountains near the palace grounds— a place that citizens of the kingdom are forbidden to enter, since it is the territory of vicious nekomata, beastly feline spirits that hunt and prowl through the wilderness for their next victim.
Obviously that isn’t enough to deter Katsuki, whose never been one for her parents rules as the crown princess. She could protect herself, damnit! All she wanted was to see Izuku, who’d gone radio-silent for a few weeks too long. Fuck the monarchy and fuck the monsters, Katsuki was determined to find her lover after so long apart.
