Summary
Once a Seraph was cast from Heaven, for an act of love in her eyes, but defiance in Heaven’s. Naamah, fell from grace while unknowingly carrying a child, fathered by the man she loves, Archangel Raphael.
Their daughter, Namariel, grows as a child of Hell with the guidance and protection of her mother and the communities she helps build. Determined to aid her mother, she begins to help and protect others from the shadows, leading a double life and her alter ego is quickly given the moniker of The Masked Aegis.
But when her mother is presumably killed at the hands of the exorcists, Namariel in grief accidently transforms into the Masked Aegis, scared of being discovered she flees, only to return later, revealing the truth to a select few, she takes over the role of the sanctuary's protector.
6 years later, she stands before the new Hazbin Hotel, now able to switch between her two selves again. As Namariel, she is curious about Alastor but as the Masked Aegis she is cautious about the Radio Demon. She soon finds herself splitting her time between helping out at the hotel and ensuring that the sanctuary remains secure.
But double lives are hard to maintain, and secrets always have a way of being made known.
