“Tonight's story is called 'Remember Me'. And the thing about this story is…” Ilonka trailed off, taking time to make eye contact with each member of the Midnight Club before her. The library was deathly silent, save for the sound of the fire crackling behind her. Each Midnight Club member leaned forward in their seat, as if by getting closer to Ilonka as she told the story, they’d be one step closer towards hearing its ending.
“This story is special because it’s a long one.” She continued. “So you guys better stick around to hear the end of it.”
