Robotnik reaches out and grabs the back of Stone’s neck, yanking him in close. Finally, Stone thinks - a normal reaction from the Doctor. He's about to be threatened, or shoved face-first on the table, or –
The Doctor presses their foreheads together, breathing a trembling sigh through his lips. “Shut up, Stone,” he mutters, but there’s no bite in his words. He sounds broken down, almost on the verge of tears, and the sound of it shatters Stone’s heart into several million pieces.

Summary
Each agent that was sent to Dr. Robotnik was better than the last. Each one knew just a tiny bit more about him than the last. What he liked, what he disliked, how he wanted his agents to act, even how he liked his coffee.
The doctor never suspected they were passing information along. He never cared to notice more than mistakes that sent the agents packing. Summary
Starting directly after the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Agent Stone finds himself truly alone; the Doctor is reduced to stardust. And Stone can't help but think that all of this, every bad thing that had happened to him and the Doctor, is because of Sonic. The Doctor may be truly gone this time, but Agent Stone will uphold his mission of ruling the world, no matter the price.
Shadow saved Robotnik from the explosion, he may be hurt, but everything will be ok now. If he was ever able to find his Agent, that is.

My take at what movie 4 could look like. When these two do finally find each other, Agent Stone is not too keen on forgiving Robotnik. He was left behind and betrayed for the last time. The world better prepare, because a heart-broken and power-hungry Agent Stone is not pulling his punches anymore.Bookmarked by OreoCookieReading
