Summary
In a world where colorful patterns appear on people's skin when they touch their soulmate, Tony and Peter don't meet until Peter is an accomplished adult in his own right and is seeking to join the Avengers. This story aims to eliminate some of the more toxic elements of Starker: Peter's twenty-two, has several college degrees, an impressive publishing history and has never called Tony "Mr. Stark." But don't worry, it's still filthy porn with sex toys and praise kinks where they're in character.
Peter's wanted to find his soulmate his whole life; Tony's almost convinced he's part of the twelve percent of people who never meet their match. They're about to have all their dreams come true.
Also, important sidenote: Steve Rogers is a dick, and the Fantastic Four are delightful.

Jack Abbot hasn’t had the best luck with relationships throughout his life. At the age of forty, he meets Jennifer Karlson. She may not be his soulmate, but he wants a partner and to be married, so he proposes. She tells him she has four children: three boys and a girl. However, the youngest daughter, Miriam, tells Jack that his name is Dennis.
Jack rolls with the tide. He tries to be a good husband. He tries to be a good stepfather. He also tries to ignore the increasingly obvious fact that his stepson is in love with him.
Jack is usually very in control of his life. This time, he fails.
