    Summary

Every story’s got an ending. This one just came a little earlier than I’d planned.

Rook wonders if Solas feels the same way as the Dread Wolf’s closes — as his new one with Ellana Lavellan cracks open to its first page.

It was a good ending — a poetic ending — the Inquisitor taming an impossibly ancient grief to walk hand in hand with her lover into the Fade.

Forever bound together; forever sharing the love they’d built between them — unshakable and iron willed and impossible to break in spite of the decade that hung between their last meeting and the flare of green that accompanies their dematerialization.

It was nice, and it was peaceful, and Rook has been left standing in the ashes of a blighted Minrathous — broken, bleeding, and bitter.

In the moments following the defeat of Elgar'nan and the redemption of the Dread Wolf, Rook is dragged into another unwanted, unpredictable magical shit show. After being given a vague order and an even vaguer plan, he's thrown into the past — much further than anticipated.

A time travel fix-it fic written by an author obsessed with dashes and italics.

    Summary

“I can’t look at you the same way,” he admitted. “It makes me feel ashamed. Like I destroyed something good.” Once again was left unsaid. “The—we are not friends,” he pointed out quickly and a blush creeped onto his face. Ah, it sounded so silly. “But—it was good, between us.”

They fought less, in a way. Bickered all the time, obviously, but there wasn’t anything weird about that. They were always like this. They would get coffee together, eat meals, talk like they used to do.

And then, alcohol came to the play. And then, of course, Kaveh felt brave and comfortable enough to joke a bit too much, and maybe he just missed another body close to him.

“It still is,” Al Haitham answered. “Good.”

    Summary

They're forcing Bruce to rest. Tucked away on the Kents' farm in rural Kansas with Superman as his keeper, he has little choice but to cooperate. At least Dick is happy—happier. It's good for him to be around normal, well-adjusted people. They can be there for him in ways Bruce is incapable of.

The more he reads of his mother's journal, the more certain he becomes; Bruce Wayne was never destined to be part of a happy family.

Meanwhile, back in Gotham, the Batclub's hard at work. It'll be a dirty job, bringing Thomas Elliot to justice. Luckily, Lois, Harvey, and Selina are perfectly comfortable with the morally grey.

    Summary

He stands in front of his desk, his posture relaxed in a way it hasn’t been in months. There is an ease to it, comfort found in the familiar arrangement that was too long absent. On the ornate rug spread across the floor, Vero and Nova kneel side-by-side, their heads tipped upwards to look at him. Vero is clasping his calf, fingers pressing into his flesh through the thick leather of his boot. Next to them, Nova grips the edge of his winged cloak, worrying the soft fabric between her gloved fingers.

Their collars, silver and bright, shine in the warm lamplight.

His loyal creatures, back where they belong.

    Summary

Sometimes the smallest choices can change everything.
Varric’s decision to hire a blood mage to stop Solas was one of them.

This is the story of a Rook who isn’t quite what anyone expected. Morally gray and socially awkward, she has little interest in making friends. Enter an Antivan Crow, suspicious of her from the start, and suddenly her plans begin to unravel, threatening more than just her secrecy.

This is also the story of Lucanis Dellamorte, an assassin turned abomination, the last thing he wants is to work alongside the very kind of mage he once hunted. Enter his personal bane, who’s somehow the most tolerant person he’s ever known, and now he isn’t so sure if he should trust his instincts or his morals.

“You know,” she said, voice low as she raised her hand to gently brush the ridge of the dagger. “I don’t normally use other people's blood in my spells, but I do use my own. So if you’re ever going to try and kill me—” her fingers drifted to skim the blade’s edge, just shy of drawing blood, and Lucanis pulled back with a grunt. “—make sure to do it in one clean move. Or otherwise, without blood involved.”
