Summary
It was a “safer place for him and his wife to live,” she said. They just had to “get used to the local customs,” she said.
Roland stared at the battlefield where bulletproof angels unloaded enough ammo into each other to bankrupt a Syndicate and wondered how the hell this place was supposed to be “safer”.

Summary
A good impression on the most important night of the year was essential. The Danse au Jugement built the trends and connections for the rest of the year. If Lumine played her cards right, it could lead to a meeting with the Hydro Archon. So having a member of Fontaine’s Court show up with a ball invitation was quite the opportunity. He was handsome, well-connected, and rich. A perfect date, except for one problem.
Lumine could overlook the whole Harbinger thing; she couldn’t overlook the urge to wipe the smirk off of his face.
~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~
A story where Lumine fantasizes about punching Pantalone and Tartaglia tries to make it a reality.
Summary
The snowball effect: A situation where something starts small and gains momentum, growing in significance or intensity over time, much like how a snowball grows larger as it rolls down a hill. In human behavior, it often describes how small actions or events can lead to larger, more impactful outcomes. Several unhelpful thinking patterns can contribute to this snowball effect: ‘All or nothing’ thinking, Jumping to conclusions, Overgeneralization, Mental filters, ‘Shoulds’ and ‘musts’.
