As languidly as he could manage, Viktor tilted his head, his eyes narrowed. “Why would you ask such a stupid question,” he asked softly, his tone aimed for Jayce’s own equipment. “Why would I alter it? It was already perfect. Or have you forgotten?”

"You seemed annoyed when I talked to MianMian. Do you like her?" He smirks.
Lan Zhan glares at him so hard he looks fully sober.
Or: Lan Zhan and Wei Ying meet in college. Wei Ying laments falling for his straight best friend. Lan Zhan is not straight.
