Based on the gostaks and tygermama post on tumblr: AU where when Darth Vader declares that he's Luke's father Luke comes to the (entirely reasonable) conclusion that Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker were married / "How could you kill your HUSBAND?!" and Luke gets away with his hand because Anakin's too confused trying to figure out when he and Obi-Wan got married and why he's only learning about it now.
Except I had just watched Ep III and Kenobi series so this is much more Obikin focused and short and angsty than what it was based on oops.

Smith is sent back in time to the night before Neo is to be taken by Agents for interrogation with all the knowledge of the future events up to their last and final fight. He reaches Neo's apartment looking for answers to why this might have happened to find that Neo is totally unaware of it, a plan begins to form: if love had been what changed Neo's path as the One, he had to make him fall in love with him tonight. And while some things never change, some things do, and that changes everything.

Grace shakes his head, bringing himself back into the moment. “Sorry, Rock. What’d you say?”
“What Grace want for birthday,” Rocky repeats himself, tone more insistent this time.
“Y’know,” Grace says, deciding an unrealistic idea is better than no idea at all, “I think I want a hug from my best friend. If you can figure that one out, you’ll never have to get me another birthday gift again.”
“Rocky will continue to get Grace gifts anyway.” Grace flushes at the declaration, which he does not want to address. Rocky is quiet for a moment after, tapping his claws on the ground in thought. And before Grace can tell him he was just joking, don’t worry about it, just make him some xenonite barbells so he doesn’t lose these muscles so fast, Rocky is perking up and skittering to leave the room again. “Rocky know how to get Grace gift! Will take some time. Late gift. Will make up for it next Earth year.”
(Or, the one where Rocky's birthday present to Grace ends up getting a little out of hand.)

"Yes. Yes, Rocky trust Grace." He pauses, and I watch his new eyebrows—eyebrows, something I'm still getting used to—pull together. "This not fair. Grace boss not fair."
His posture shifts, arms crossing over his chest. Even in a human body, Rocky's body language displays his annoyance. Some things translate across species, I guess.
"It's just one try," I say, keeping my voice soft. "We can do it again with you being the 'boss' later. Just—uh, let me know if you need something, don't be afraid to ask, 'kay?"
