“Um… Aizawa-sensei?” Midoriya’s voice was hesitant, barely above a mumble, but it cut through the background noise like a blade. Shinsou, along with most of the class, barely reacted at first—Midoriya constantly had questions. But then he kept talking.
“Is that a—uh—a ring?”
The words hung in the air.
At first, there was no reaction. Aizawa didn’t move, simply continuing to sip from his ever-present can of coffee. But around the room, heads were turning.
“Huh?” Kaminari frowned, leaning forward. “What do you mean, a ring?”
“Like a wedding ring?” Mina gasped, whipping around so fast her chair nearly tipped over.
