When Ranma was hit in a head in the pond he wake up as a complete woman. In the original timeline after another hit in the head Ranma get back to normal and that was the end of the story.
In this timeline though the "Girl Ranma" wasn't happy seeing how everyone was treating her and was dead set on making sure that her male body will be gone forever.
