Vaggie doesn't remember anything from her past when she was alive on earth. Everything before she was an Exorcist is just a blank slate. A fair few of her fellow exorcists were the same as her in that regard.
Most of the time it doesn't really bother her, only the odd occasion does she get odd pangs of emotions and flashes of an unfamiliar past.
Most of the time she just ignores it. Up until she bumps into one Julieta Madrigal while visiting Heaven with Charlie.
A woman who claims that Vaggie is someone called Mirabel.
A woman who then claims that Vaggie is her youngest daughter

Velvette has a secret, when she was alive she was a girl named Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and more importantly the hero Ladybug.
Of course that doesn't really matter now, considering she was murdered and consigned to Hell, eventually become the overlord Velvette.
Secrets unfortunately have a habit of coming out, with Velvette unwittingly revealing the fact she was murdered at the rip old age of fourteen years old during an overlord meeting. Soon enough more secrets come to light, and not just Velvette's at that.
Of course Carmilla Carmine on finding out, begins to keep an eye out on the young overlord much to said overlord's annoyance, besides she holds a similar secret to Velvette, being a former ladybug wielder as well.
Besides there’s the fact there are the odd occurrences going on in Paris, and the fact Adam had recently attacked the Hazbin Hotel and the resulting aftermath to consider as well.

Vaggie does not remember anything before her death. She knows she was earth born, she knows she died sometime and went to heaven, but she can't remember anything before Adam made her an exorsist. And she's always been fine with that. She has her life at the hotel, the sinners she's slowly calling friends, and most importantly, she has Charlie.
So when a group of strangers arrives to the hotel and says they know her, calling her "Mirabel", Vaggie has no clue what they are on about.
Yet seeing them is bringing...pain...anguish...panic...and rage. So maybe...there might be a truth...one she is not sure she even wants to know.
The Madrigals were all sent to hell after Casita collapsed in top of them. Desperate to go to heaven, they think Mirabel needs to forgive them. However the one they are sure its her, does not even know her name.
As for Charlie....well she is tryng to be nice, but seeing how this people are bringing pain to her girlfriend, its getting harder and harder every moment.

For a very long time, Mirabel knew her family was special. They were the Familia Madrigal! The one that was tasked to protect the Encanto with their partner Pokémon's. They were the ones that were given a gift, blessed by the Almighty God of the world Arceus. So when she wasn't given a gift, things become more complicated than they should be. But she wouldn’t let it deter her from proving that she’s just as special as her family. Even if it means she needs to take on a more supportive role.
But little did she know… that God had other plans prepared for her.
