The day is finally here, the day Homunculus will finally get his rightfully deserved body with his blood kin at his side. Yet disaster strikes, despite years of meticulous planning, Homunculus is still trapped in the flask.
A minor setback. After all, Van Hohenheim’s ascension was successful, and with over a million human souls at their disposal, he can still get his body. All he has to do is get Van Hohenheim’s help. Unfortunately, Van Hohenheim hates him for what he’s done.
Perhaps this is a major setback.

There’s no way he, Van Hohenheim, could have a soulmate. Him, a monster who is over four hundred years old! He’d given up back in Xerxes on ever getting a soulmate, and he especially doesn’t deserve one now! But the mirror doesn’t show his face. Instead, it shows a young woman with short chestnut hair and lovely green eyes.
Trisha had gone to bed the night before her eighteenth birthday, wholeheartedly believing that she would find out who her soulmate was the next morning. And well, she did, but she could really do without all the yelling in her head.
The Souls of Xerxes are very confused right now, but they’re going to do their absolute best to make sure Trisha makes it to Hohenheim.

As he peered inside the small cell, his breathe caught in his throat.
Inside was a small figure lying prone, drowning in a mess of tangled, matted hair that was splayed across the floor. Golden hair. They shifted slightly to turn their head towards the door. Half-lidded dull golden eyes peered blearily at him through the open slot.
Any previous thoughts of sneaking further in were stopped in their tracks. There were only two people in the world besides himself and the Homunculus that should have those features and they were both dead.

Imagine an alternate universe, where every character is changed. I, myself, had a challenge to do so. Yet, I believe I have a suitable cast swapping:
Envy plays Ed, Ed plays Greed, Greed plays Ling, Ling plays Gluttony, Gluttony plays Jean Havoc and Vato Falman, Falman plays Yoki, Yoki plays Maes Hughes, Hughes plays Kimblee, Kimblee plays Roy Mustang, Mustang plays Lust, Lust plays Riza Hawkeye, Hawkeye plays Wrath, Wrath plays Izumi Curtis, Izumi plays Olivier, Olivier plays Pride, Pride plays Alphonse, Alphonse plays Envy.
