Summary
Takemichi, a simple servant living and working at one of the country’s most significant shrine sites, is convinced that he knows how the rest of his life will go: He will do his work around the shrines, assist the priests with menial tasks, and one day he’ll die.

He can’t fight, instant ramen has been his best friend since his parents died, he can’t even ride a bicycle or swim, his grades were average at best, and that’s if he wasn’t cheating off of Hina. What does he have that the others don’t already have or could easily obtain, how could he bring his own value?
