Nothing. He had no strength in his legs right now. He tried again, and again, and each time, they would give way, and another twinge would ripple upwards. On his last attempt, his foot slipped, almost sending him face-first into the dirt. Standing up on his own, let alone walking, was out of the question right now.
Crawling, one-armed, a great distance with very little strength? That wasn’t sensible either. No, right now, all Flowery could do was… stay put.
What a laugh. He was just as useless as a flower.
(That wasn’t right. Flowers weren’t useless… But like this, with no one to see him, what good was he?)
He sighed, feeling the exhaustion catch back up to him. Shuffling into a comfortable position as best he could, Flowery took one deep breath,and called for help.

Sure, a six bedroom house that’s cheap enough for Noelle’s inheritance to pay for without a mortgage is probably a red flag, but what’s the worst problem they could face? They need to do a few renovations? Call in some guys to fix the plumbing? Fine by them!
It’s ghosts. The house was so cheap because of ghosts.
…oh well! In this economy, an extra seven roommates isn’t that much of a deal breaker, not at these prices!

Summary
Kromer and Demian were the first people to suddenly just come into Sinclair's life and change it forever; but after accepting a challenge from the former to skip class, Sinclair runs into somebody he's never seen at school before. She smokes, she speaks strangely, she has striking red eyes one can't help but get lost in, and she calls herself Ryoshu. Ryoshu doesn't offer liberation from society or some kind of enlightening perspective on life, yet Sinclair still wishes to get closer to her.

After escaping the House of Spiders, Ryoshu wants to try to have some semblance of a "normal" life for both herself and Araya when the time finally comes. At first school was a means to an end, a way to stay out of trouble and possibly get a proper job in the future, so she just assumed she wouldn't be able to make friends... until that Emil Sinclair showed up all of a sudden.
