You used to be just another experiment to Lexcorp, kill the target, go back to your tortured fake life, until they made the mistake of having you go against Superman.
Now you're hired at Checkmate and trying desperately to learn how to be at least somewhat normal. You didn't really know how to be a person in general, but you were determined to start over and become one anyways.
