Due to his subsequent selection by Nagi in the final stage of the second selection, Kiyora accidentally makes friends with the rest of the people from the fifth stratum.

Really, this was all a shitty mistake. Illogical, irresponsible, Hugo could go on. His mind was racing for a grasp at how this could have been prevented. How he ended up being in Isagi Yoichi's hotel room? There's always a natural anger and rivalry when facing a skilled opponent. Yet this was far more to Hugo; he wanted to crush Isagi. And fate had twisted her unforgiving favor in Isagi's odds.
