Summary
Zanka still couldn't shake the feeling of wrongness about all of this. A feeling he remembers he had when they were tricked by raiders into their muddy trap. But Enjin was with them this time and Rudo had a much better grasp on his jinki than he did before so if it were a trap they should be good. Still, Lovely vibrated with the sentiment of 'Go now. Not safe. Go.' Zanka softly murmured comforting words to his her as they made their way towards wherever the monsters had flown too. They were gonna be fine.

Stuff goes terribly wrong on a mission involving new types of trash beasts leading to the cleaners thinking Zanka died. He did die but he wasn't gonna be dead for long.Bookmarked by Pu239

There's a woman in the well close to her house, and Zanka does not know what to make of it. Kyouka said she's sleeping, said she's always been sleeping, and yet the moment Zanka dared step out of the paths she found acceptable Kyouka would pull her back with a tight hand on her shoulder.

Kuro’s prices are too high, and with Arkha Corvus being in and out of their reach, the need for another information broker becomes their new priority. And to everyone’s surprise, Fu may know someone.
Or: Enjin never met Zanka that fateful day, and instead, Zanka has managed to leave his family on his own, joining the dark underworld of the Ground and becoming an information broker.
