Summary
Grace is unprepared for the level of love that all of Erid seemed to have for him. It was vaguely terrifying, but also.... nice? To be cared for. To be wanted.
It gets worse when they find out the circumstances of him ending up on the Hail Mary.
When his declining health necessitates a trip back to Earth, he is faced with a planet that loves him so fiercely and wonderfully that it finally starts to break through his crippling lack of self worth and bloom into something incredible.
And Earth? Earth has to deal with an Erid that is polite, protective, and most of all, pissed.

Summary
Heaven has invaded Hell, seemingly determined to wipe out every sinner and hellborn alike. The King has been captured. The Queen leads her people, fighting back against the threat. Meanwhile, the Princess, merely a child, is nowhere to be found.
Amidst the chaos and rubble, Alastor comes across a wounded and terrified little girl. He ought to have kept walking. He should have just ignored the child and kept to his own little survival plan.
He doesn’t do that.
And no good deed goes unpunished it seems, as Alastor’s choice to lead the child to safety results in him being bound to the girl as her keeper. After all, what better body guard for a Princess of Hell than a cannibal, serial killer who rather detests children.

“We call this ♪♫.”
“The color or the rock?” I tease, earning myself a low staccato noise not unlike what a human might sound like when faking a laugh.
And then, from one second to another, he straightens. I sense the shift in the air, and as I rise from my squat, Rocky's gaze follows me very, very slowly.
“What?” I ask.
“Say name of this again,” he says, and I tilt my head. He’s never needed me to repeat something before. His hearing is immaculate, and he’s never once forgotten something I’ve told him.
“It’s a rock.”
He doesn’t move. He stares at me with his featureless face until even that feels more unsettling than eye contact.
“Grace,” he says flatly. “You are fucking kidding me, question?”

Summary
“I wonder how things would be if we’d evolved on the same planet,” Grace says, leaning his forearms on his elevated knee. The one kept up by Rocky’s body. It puts even more weight on him, and Rocky feels the texture of Grace’s shoe through the xenonite, the bumps and ridges, the rocks and leaves stuck to the bottom. “You think we’d eat each other?”
It takes every ounce of self control for Rocky to keep the noise he makes somewhat dignified. He kind of needs Grace to stop talking.
