    “Something like that,” he muttered. “I do not know why. He probably had very boring evening planned. Now, he is embroiled in kidnapping scheme.”

    “You make it sound like Hollander’s some sort of criminal mastermind,” Hunter said. “The man eats frozen yogurt. No one who eats frozen yogurt is capable of being a criminal.”

    “I don’t know.” Marleau reached for another slice of pizza. “It’s always the quiet ones, you know? If it came to light that Hollander has a criminal empire, I wouldn’t be shocked.”

    “What crimes would Hollander do, ginger ale smuggling?”
