Shouta knew he wasn’t an easy person to be around. He was quiet and odd and oftentimes rude-whether he meant to be or not never mattered.
He wasn’t a particularly good friend-he didn’t brighten up a room when he walked in, he found it hard to find the right words in a conversation, often letting the momentum of a lively conversation wither away as he thought of the best reply. Or other times, destroying all levity like a sledgehammer on ice in his bluntness.
In recent years however, he has managed to keep some aura of..something. Something to keep the few close friends, who for some reason seemed to want him around.
So, while he had some success in being a functioning member of the world; a hero student, a friend, a somewhat decent user of his capture weapon, one thing stayed ever constant.
