Summary
In the months following their return from Hell, Vergil struggles with insomnia. Unable and unwilling to ask for help, Vergil suffers in silence for a time, until Dante finally broaches the subject with him. This leads Vergil to taking a novel approach to his problem.

Summary
They are brothers, united in this colossal fuck up. Watching Vergil fall next to him - bright, shining Vergil, regal and composed even in his devil form in a way that Dante can never pretend to be - brings him a sense of calm he hasn’t felt in decades. Not since Temen-ni-gru. Not since Vergil last fell.
(Dante third person POV, immediately post-DMCV. Dante and Vergil take a hike through the underworld and have a bit of a heart-to-heart, but they are both terrible, terrible communicators.)
