“Buck…I’m going to need you to say what you are trying to say clearly, because I’m starting to feel a little jerked around,” Eddie said.
“I’m- I’m sorry. That’s not what I’m trying to do I promise. I want this to work between us I do! But, Tommy said something and I can’t get it out of my head.”
Eddie took a step back, and Buck’s hands fell from his shoulders.
“You talked to Tommy about us?” Eddie couldn’t hide his look of betrayal. “Recently?”
“No, it wasn’t about us. It was about us- I mean Tommy and I. I’m not explaining this well at all!” Buck said exasperated.
Or Buck is feeling insecure about being the first man to date Eddie. Eddie just wants to date his best friend.

Buck is worried about taking the next step with Eddie, and asks Hen for some advice.
(Basically last night I was wondering how the writers will work this out on the show if and when Buddie becomes canon and decided to write down one possible scenario. This is my first ever real fanfic and completely self-indulgent! lol but if you like it you should let me know because I'm a very insecure individual and thrive on complements. :) Be kind, I am fragile.) -Title is from Sleeping In by All Time Low, because it's been stuck in my head for days.

“Want me to teach you something?” Eddie nods gently, about to remove his hands from them both when Buck stops him, shaking his head. “Keep going. It’ll make it better, I promise.”
As Buck’s hands move, he speaks, not leaving a thing to the imagination with the words he’s saying.
“Right below your pelvis there’s this small space of skin,” Buck notes, dragging fingers down Eddie’s length until he reaches just beneath, tapping the skin there. “Here. And if I massage it just right you should—”
Whatever Buck was going to say, Eddie assumes he’s right based on the feeling he gets. It’s a light but intense pressure, like his prostate is being handled from the outside of his body (or he assumes that’s what it is? He’s not entirely sure on an account of he’s never done this before), and it feels so fucking good. He can’t help but curl his toes into the sheets and use his free hand to grip Buck’s shoulder tightly.

“Buck, do you remember me?” Eddie asks slowly. He fiddles with a silicone ring on his finger, turning it from side to side. It’s almost like he’s afraid to hear what Buck’s answer will be. Something tells Buck that no matter what he says, it’s not going to be the right thing.
“Yeah, you’re the new probie. We disarmed the bomb in that ambulance. We got the guy out, right? Hey, do you think you could get Bobby? You’re kinda weirding me out, man,” Buck says. Eddie’s face drops. Buck’s heart follows, though he has no idea what he did wrong, or why the expression of a near stranger is filling him with so much fear. Buck clears his throat. “Some ice chips might be nice.”
