There is only one person in the world she would do anything for; her brother, Konig. An operator for KorTac and the one person to ever truly care for her. Blake was different. Or at least that's what Yang thought. She thought she felt something. A tie to Blake that felt like a rope Yang could tug and find Blake anywhere. Yang swears she could find Blake anywhere in the world with it if she tried. Blake had taken the rope and sliced clean through it with her blade. The rope had come flying back on the recoil and wrapped around Yang's heart like a snake, squeezing until it shattered. Until all Yang could do to hold on to Blake was to pick up on making tea, the smell reminding her of the faunus, a stack of books bringing her back to when Blake would read on her bed and Yang would claim she was too tired to climb up into her own bunk just for the excuse to lay her head on Blake's lap while she read. Long dexterous fingers would comb through wild blonde locks with no fear of Yang getting mad.
Because Yang wouldn't. She could never be mad at Blake. Not even now. She just felt empty. Alone. That same feeling every time someone else leaves but this time it hurts ten times worse. Because Blake was supposed to be different. Blake was supposed to stay.
But she didn’t. Just like everyone else.
