Summary
Grimmjow is a world-renowned MMA fighter, who's taken his first loss in years. Ichigo is a sports columnist in need of something raw for his next piece. It only makes sense that he go after the Panther King, who might be losing his spark in the ring. Ichigo manages to secure the contract, but the boundary between work and play blurs when he's pulled into the gravitational force that is Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez.

After losing his powers, Ichigo accepts his now powerless life as normal. He goes to school, he goes to work, he hangs out with his sisters, his routine is set in stone and he is ready to live out the rest of his life this way. One night, however, during a terrible storm, his normal life comes crashing down. In all the stories where a traveler leaves home, embarking on an important task, the bards all focus on the thrilling bits and never get around to mentioning how the first obstacle is invariably the journey itself. Road dust in unmentionable places, how fresh water is hard to come by, the cost of maintaining equipment against bandits and worse, the list goes on. A broken wheel could mean the difference between a few days on the road and a week trying to make repairs.
