Maybe this is why he came back as a ghost. A part of his body is missing, and in order to pass through the veil, his body needs to be completed and put together. Richie just needs to find his other eye, return it to his head, and rejoin the pieces of his body so he can move on to the afterlife.
What a perfect plan. He needs to figure out how this happened, and how he can put an end to it. He needs to understand why he’s been resurrected, and if there’s a way to reverse whatever dark magic is keeping his soul in this world. He needs to go and learn the full history of the Waylons.
