You knew it was a long shot to try and escape. There was nowhere logically left to run and every escape route was closing off.
Maybe under the cover of darkness, you could escape through the nearby forest. Head as far away from the circus as possible and hope that they would forget all about you. Surely they wouldn't bother with one bothersome human.
Unfortunately for you, there was at least one member of the circus that thought the world of you. And won't let you get away so easily.
