Idk I started drawing Orville holding Link's body and started thinking about how Orville would feel if he knew how often I write him and Link as a tragedy and this happened.

Summary
Long ago, longer than mortals can imagine, there was a man named Link (Later, there was another. And another, and another, and—). Part of his soul had grown bitter with resentment at the destiny that had dictated his suffering. That part was torn apart from him by the gods and left to whither away.
What the gods did not account for was that resentment, left ignored, only grows.
Sky finds himself suddenly and violently thrown into the back of his own head. He no longer has any control of his body. He’s trapped in the darkest corners of his own mind. Sky screams at the Deity, trying to understand what’s happened, but he doesn’t answer.
He has a job to do, after all. He hadn’t lied to Sky, he would do his best to end the curse. And he would do whatever it takes, even if he had to go through a hero or two.

His voice is hesitant, roughened by a night of silence and screams not his own. He looks at Wei Wuxian’s back, at the way his shoulders are drawn too tight, held together by sheer will alone.
“Are you… are you sure about this?”
Wei Wuxian does not answer immediately.
He is staring at the path leading down into the Burial Mounds, at the familiar twist of earth and stone that he could navigate blind, at the faint traces of resentful energy humming low and steady beneath the surface. This place has always answered him. Always opened its arms when the world shut its doors.
Now, it feels like standing on the edge of a wound.
“I’m sure,” he says finally.

A loosely 5+1 formatted fic telling the story of Lan Wangji's decline from being unable to eat after his punishment to simply not caring to eat because of his grief and guilt over the loss of Wei Wuxian, until he falls into the very bad habit, completely unawares, of barely eating at all.
Inspired by this very sad thing from a Tumblr post.

This was not his husband who had grieved him for thirteen years, who had been punished with thirty three strikes of the discipline whip by a sect who claimed to be righteous – but only complied to that righteousness when it fit their ideals, if anyone fell out of line, clearly, they could not be held responsible for dealing out punishment for stepping off the path – his husband, who had branded himself after finding their son in the ruins of the Burial Mounds.
This was a version of his husband Wei Ying had not gotten to experience.
This was a desperate Lan Zhan.
or: an accidental time travel takes Wei Ying back to a time (to a cave) he doesn't remember, and it's now up to him and his husband to save everyone before the clans come to lay siege.

That day, people cheered and celebrated in the streets. Alcohol flowed freely, and everyone was in high spirits. Wei Wuxian couldn’t get away from the ruckus if he tried. It was as though when Lan Wangji ascended, so did everyone who heard the news.
In Wei Wuxian’s mind, it had been a foregone conclusion. If anyone in his generation was going to cultivate to such a level, it could only be Lan Wangji. There was no one else so righteous, so deserving, so powerful.
Why then, didn’t Wei Wuxian feel much like celebrating when he heard the news?
