Summary
Book 5 in the Breakaway series featuring:
Dev— a blueliner rookie with a traumatic past living with Alex and Eli for his first season on the Hounds’ roster, and Theo—Alex’s half-brother who shows up seeking sanctuary after being inhospitably booted from his college/trust fund when his parents find out he’s trans.
After an antagonistic introduction, Theo and Dev realize they may have more in common than they initially thought (and maybe they should kiss about it??), but they’ll have to engage in a “friends with benefits” agreement full of mutual pining for a good long while before admitting anything like feelings—all while dealing with hockey-related subterfuge, blackmail, and parents who probably shouldn’t be.

Summary
Shane wants to figure out if he's gay before he gets drafted—and no, the way he felt when Ilya Rozanov smirked at him with a cigarette between his lips in Saskatchewan has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, the random guy he hooks up with to try and make sure one way or another takes a picture, and Shane gets outed before the draft. In the ensuing scandal, he goes seventh overall, to Ottawa.
It turns out, having the worst thing you can think of happen to you when you're seventeen years old can end up being pretty liberating. And land you an unexpected best friend.

Read through ch 41
Still enjoying this as new parts are posted but I think it might be something that benefits from reading all at once instead of in installments. I was so immersed in it for the first 30 or so chapters that I miss that feeling when I read the newly posted ones. So that means I'm definitely reading it again once it's all available!
