Datastream is known by most of the Underground Heroes and many of the better Spotlight Heroes as a master of surveillance, able to supply information, co-ordinate back up when overwhelmed, they call on medical support when there are injuries, even call in a hero's takedown on occasion.
To one Underground Hero, though, Datastream is better known as Midoriya Izuku, Aizawa Shouta's nephew.

Just like every other day, Izuku mumbled up a storm and about fifteen minutes later (a drastic increase from the measly three minutes he would have gotten in their first year), Katsuki turned to him and snapped. "Shut the fuck up nerd! I can barely hear myself think!"

How to Make A Hero! Write about a hero! What skills they have, how best they can use their quirk, and what we citizens can do to improve our daily lives by emulating their traits and morals! Essay must be four pages minimum, five pages maximum. Must include three sources. Can be typed or handwritten. Contest winners receive a grand prize and all contestants will receive extra credit!

Maybe the fact that the essay contest had been so ridiculously easy to win should’ve tipped Midoriya Izuku off sooner. He’s always wanted to be a hero, but with one essay he finds himself scooped up by none other than the Hero Public Safety Commission to train to support heroes instead. All while doing things he’s already good at! It’s, really, an easy decision to make.
Problems quickly rise, though, when a lot of people decide they want him in the job field as soon as possible. And it’s clear this job is far from the idyllic heroic work he always imagined he’d be doing.
