Summary
For years Aizawa Shouta has been the reluctant Number One Hero and Symbol of Peace named Apex. It was fine for a while, saving lives, killing All for One, etc. He became a public hero so people would feel safe and trust in heroes again because he knew what it was like to see a hero as the light at the end of the tunnel.
But now, he just wants to finish training his successor, finish the school year without dropping dead from exhaustion, and maybe get some actual sleep each night.
And yet his new coworker, the first quirkless pro hero, Yagi Toshinori seems to be determined to make him question his overall goals and what he wants from his own future and from Yagi.
However, with an enigma of a villain coming onto the scene and a flood of quirk-altering drugs on the streets, he’s going to have to put his love life on hold and concentrate on keeping his students, and hopefully himself, alive.

It's brought to Aizawa's attention he hasn't been all that welcoming to their new co-worker. For the good of his students and to get Hizashi off his back he decides to straighten things out with Yagi and make it clear that while he may not like All Might, he's willing to work together. It's a surprise to many when Aizawa finds out his dislike is mutual.
Shouta's never been so bothered by someone agreeing with him. He should probably look into why.

"It'll be an experiment…" Izuku insisted. "A sleepover. If it doesn't work, then we'll know that me just being there isn't enough to stop the lapses, and if it does, well? Then we'd know, and we could decide where to go from there," he finished, his face flushed, but mouth set firmly.
Toshinori sighed deeply, rubbing at his brow with the pads of his thumb and forefinger. As much as he was reluctant to admit it, Izuku had a point. It would be good for them to know more about how the imprint functioned, and how they could manage its side-effects. His lack of sleep was wearing on him, mentally and physically. It was slowing his recovery, and he could see that it was affecting Izuku, and likely the other students, as well as himself.
