Summary
“I guess you were right after all, Viago. I am more of a Rook than a Crow.”
After saving captives from the Antaam, Isabella finds out from Viago that she ruined a larger Crow operation. Until further notice, she's banished from Antiva until things calm down. That's when she meets Varric with a contract of a lifetime. If she can pull this off and find the Dread Wolf, then she can return home victorious once tempers have cooled.
However, when the ritual crashes down around them and circumstances change, Isabella realizes that she needs to extend the contract. Otherwise, there won't be a home for her to return to.

Summary
“So, what made you two come all the way to Kirkwall and open a restaurant?” Varric took his glass from the Elf across the bar.
“Avoiding responsibility.”
“No, really.”
“Really.” Zevran laughed. “Lucanis does not want to become First Talon. So, we let him run off to do something he does want to do. What he might not realize is that this is getting him ready to be First Talon. He’s learning to manage people, interact outside of a job, and take command of problems.”
“No shit? There’s that much similarity between Crow work and the Crow here?”
“You’d be surprised.”
“You really care to help him, don’t you?”
“Si. And, our meddling might just prove to him that he does still have emotions.”
“How’s that going, anyway?” Varric raised a brow.
“She stayed the night. I’d say well.” Zevran poured him another shot. “He smiles now, it isn’t just a mask. But there is still progress to be made if all this will be permanent for him.”
“And how is your own attempt coming?” Zevran poured himself a shot and drank in answer. “That badly?” Varric grimaced.
“I’ll get to the bottom of this, eventually.”
“The bottle or her resistance?”
“Both.” Zevran sighed heavily.Series

Summary
She’d admit to herself that maybe—just maybe—it might have been a bad idea to blow up a part of the Fade so intrinsically linked to the Veil.
When Rook escapes the Prison of Regret through unconventional means, she ends up wandering through the Fade right into a role that should have belonged to a certain Inquisitor.
Pile on the sudden return to her four-year old body (in the wrong year), the Dread Wolf walking around like he doesn't want to commit genocide (in broad daylight), plus a childish resurgence to find her family from before the Antivan Crows...well, at least she doesn't have to deal with any of the particularly volatile Evanuris.
...right?
