Summary
25 years ago, Courtland Gentry Grace said goodbye to his little brother and promised he’d see him again before he was sent to Florida state prison. It takes the end of the world and a zombie apocalypse for them to meet again.
Before the end of the world, Court used to be a CIA agent. Now that zombies have taken over the world, that doesn’t really matter anymore.
Except it does, when he finds himself tasked with what is probably the most job of his life.
To deliver a molecular biologist who’s discovered the cure to the zombie apocalypse to the last operating research facility in the country.
For Ryland Grace, it turns out, the world does end with a bang, and several bombs, and the national guard escorting him from his home in California to research a way to combat extraterrestrial microbial life that causes a prion disease that inevitably kickstarts the zombie apocalypse.
Even when the country comes to a standstill, even when everyone else begins to die, he has a job to do. Years later, he’s finally discovered the cure, but when his research facility is overrun by zombies, he finds himself with a problem. He has the cure, the only other place to manufacture it is across the country.

Summary
Ryland Grace is unknowingly pregnant when he is put into suspended animation and sent on a suicide mission to save Earth from astrophage. After completing his mission and turning back for Rocky, he and his friend have to navigate ever-complicated human pregnancy and parenthood during the 4 year trip to Erid. After touchdown, will Erid be willing and able to support two fragile human lives? What will Grace have to do in the name of bravery for his child? What does life look like for a child of the stars?

Summary
It might be messed up of me to think this, but I was so glad that Simon’s an omega.
Something about Simon’s soothing, omega presence was, really, really, really nice. I was genuinely so happy that the one other human being we found was an omega.
It also just made stuff easier when cycles came around.
