Summary
In 1977, to protect the next generation of witches and wizards, Hogwarts sends all of its students into protection programs around the world. Students are to live with new families and exist as muggles until it's safe to return home.
James Potter refused to be split from his closest mates, and convinced Sirius, Remus and Peter to all accept transfer to America. In a small rural town in a state called Oregon.
When they show up to their first day of classes, James puts on the show of his life. Faking shock and surprise, as Regulus Black and his two troublemaker friends walk through their same corridors. Because Sirius had no idea - that James also convinced Sirius’ younger brother to come to this sleepy American town.
Hiding their magic, trying to blend in, all while a war wages across the world, will be the hardest challenge of their young lives.
Or, an AU where the Marauders don’t have to fight in a war, just the horrors of American high school in the 70s.

OMG!! Amazing! And I feel like it’s a 16+ fic not an 18+ fic which makes it even better in my humble opinion lol! The relationship and character building is amazing! I was reading it acting out what regulus what doing and I did the same reactions as were written in the story exactly! Now if that doesn’t tell you how good the characterization is idk what will convince you.
