Through no intention of her own, the muscles along Mileena's spine tensed. The drone of her suitor's voice began to pierce through the hazy spell that Tanya so frequently and easily enraptured her in.
Mileena wanted nothing more than to shake free of his presence, his voice, his scent. It must've been clear as day on her face because Tanya's eyes flickered down then back up, giving her a fleeting once over before the most dastardly little smirk pulled at the guardian's full lips.

Another day, another unwanted meeting with a potential suitor. Mileena goes through the motions, as expected of her, but having a certain Umgadi guardian in the room is very distracting.

All Chun-Li wants is to make sure Li-Fen is able to enjoy the rest of her childhood to the fullest. Not the easiest task when you consider everything Li-Fen has been though. Summary
There was an effortlessness to evenings at Chun-Li's apartment and somehow a feeling of nostalgia for a life she'd never actually experienced herself.
A playlist of music Cammy was unfamiliar with played in the background. It was upbeat but mellow. She was grateful for it. It filled up the silence between them. In no way did Chun-Li seem uncomfortable with the silence, but still – it took the pressure off of Cammy to say anything. Company she was ready for. Conversation less so.

The beginnings of Chun-Li and Cammy's relationship set shortly after the SF Alpha Games. After being released from Bison's mind control, Cammy has a lot to learn about herself, friendships, what she could want, and who she could be.
Luckily she has someone consistent by her side - even if that someone makes her stomach flutter for reasons she's yet to work out.

Li-Fen turned to face her, even made eye contact as she continued. “You didn’t exactly plan on taking me in. I just don’t want you to miss out on anything because of me. I want you to be happy. And you’re really pretty and nice so I thought you’d have a Valentine.”
“Not this year,” she conceded. Valentine’s Day had always seemed frivolous to Chun-Li, garish even. She shut down conversations about it every year with a sharp tongue. But for Li-Fen she was willing to soften her answer.

Chun-Li spends some time helping Li-Fen write her Valentines for school and in all her childlike honesty Li-Fen questions why Chun-Li never has a Valentine of her own this time of year. Just a cute, little domestic one shot.
