Summary
Harry was once told that telling other people about your problems would make you feel better. Well, what's the worst that could happen if he tells them to a petrified Hermione Granger?
Author's note: the preceding twenty-three chapters are currently undergoing tone revision to shift them into the third person and to look for any mistakes I might have made writing them, including incomplete sentences, plot holes, and things I knew but didn't include in a way the reader would know. This note will be removed when it is done.

Summary
Hermione Granger has never belonged. She never had friends, never had anyone to connect to, and even her parents, well, there is much to be said about that. She had hoped that going to Hogwarts and meeting fellow people like her would change that fate she had lived, but alas, she is as much an outcast in Gryffindor as she was in the Muggle world. That changed on October 31st when Harry Black, the pureblooded heir to the House of Black, single-handedly saved her from a troll. It was the start of a wonderful friendship that even now, two months later, was still going strong.
Even as Hermione goes deeper and deeper into the Old Ways, learning the truth of the world and magic as Harry and those around him see it, there is something constantly looming behind her, something she desperately tries to ignore. But that cannot last forever. The clock is ticking down towards the moment where that specter can no longer be ignored, cannot be outrun, where the moment of her destruction is at hand.
May the Ancestors Who Are Just help her and guard her.

Summary
Once upon a time, a lonely girl met an abused boy. She gave him a birthday card, he gave her Pixie Stix, and they gave each other confidence. Then they met a stray dog and learned of another world, the sort of world that swallowed brilliant girls and orphan boys whole and left only the bones.
And they decided to Kick. Its. Ass.
They also kind of got engaged, but they'll sort that out later.
(Now a full canon rewrite with 90% less angst and at least 200% more chaos. Highlights include accidental kidnappings, intentional kidnappings, glitterpigs, eldritch horrors, tooth-rotting fluff, bad-ass children, a handful of competent adults, unexpected medieval weaponry, misuse of household cleaning charms & equipment, and unsupervised Lovegoods.)

A bit dramatic harmony. AI is definitely used for the writing, but it's still good.

Summary
What if Ron had accused Hermione of helping Harry cheat his way into the tournament, severing ties with both of them instead of only Harry? What if Hermione had been angry with him instead of excusing his jealousy? What if Harry made a really dumb choice, and Hermione learned that sometimes, challenging authority can be good? A reimagining of Goblet of Fire, starting the day after the eponymous Goblet throws our hero into the Tournament.
