Summary
At 16 years old, with no signs of a secondary gender presentation, Wickd had assumed Thomas was a beta and unwilling to wait any longer, Wickd sent Thomas into the Glade. There, Thomas experienced persistent pain at the back of his neck. which he would later find out to be a swollen scent gland.
After a couple of days in the glade when he finally ran into the Maze to rescue Minho and Alby, Thomas unexpectedly presented as an omega - at the worst possible moment. Now, with Grievers closing in, Minho must find a way to protect Thomas at his most vulnerable.

Minho put a hand on Thomas's shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. Then Thomas felt it, he felt Minho releasing more of his scent to envelop him and calm him down. And it worked, Thomas felt better.
