Quiet. Jaina needed to be quiet if she didn’t want to alert the guards in the hall, their boots clicking against the keep's stone floor as they patrolled. She needed to be quiet if she didn’t want to risk an international incident.
But being quiet was proving to be increasingly difficult with the hard, well-muscled body that pressed up behind her, pinning her against cold stone. It was the last thing she wanted to be when sharp teeth sank into the delicate skin of her neck, chilled tongue sweeping out to taste the salt of her.
