When Chuuya got out of his chair he stumbled hard, alcohol clearly not having worn off and was expecting to land flat on the hard floor, but instead he felt a strong arm around him.
Looking up, Chuuya was met with eyes he’d never seen before. They looked like pools of honey in which he could sink in forever or well... until he realized who those eyes belonged to. He observed the rest of the stranger just to find out that Dazai fucking Osamu was holding him in his arms right now.
“You alright there?”
Or: Chuuya is a dumb drunk and accidentally wakes up in the dorm of the biggest fuckboy in school, Dazai Osamu. As fate wants it, they end up being partners on a project and news start to spread. But rumors are just rumors... or are they?

Summary
"In the way the water grows grey, polluted over the years, from clear blue to a murky green sludge, but no one is around long enough to notice. No one pays attention until it's too late, until someone drops a match into the oil drenched water and watches it light up in flame. Smoke fills the sky and no one can fan it away.
A steadily, slowly, increasing itch in the back of his mind, the quietest thought, under the level of unconsciousness until it's nearly comatose. A pounding in his cranium that announced itself at 3 in the morning, heartbreakingly sober and fingertips numb. A sickening weight in his stomach, liquid metal, that evened out as he stood to start the day.
Maybe, he should've stopped drinking before bed.
Most likely, it was just liver cancer. "
An impossible decision, a forced hand, and sins unearthed from the past. There is nothing he can do but watch it fall, and hope this time, it's the last.

“STOP RIGHT THERE! U FUCKİNG MACKEREL!” His voice was sharp, cutting through the air. He stood right in front of the limousine like he was standing guard. In the narrow street, he left no space for it to pass. “If you want to go through, you’ll have to run me over.”
“No matter what you do, my decision won’t change.” Dazai spoke firmly. “So stop acting childish, or I’ll call the police. If you don’t want to spend the rest of your life in a cell—”
“Try me,” Chuuya taunted. He had a strong card in his hand, after all.
The card: pretending to faint.
Then he let himself collapse onto the ground.

Aka. When Dazai’s company buys the old building Chuuya works in and plans to demolish it, Chuuya protests. He and Dazai get into a heated argument, but Dazai can’t help being drawn to the fire in him.

Twelve-year-old Osamu Dazai, severely depressed and openly suicidal, had been hospitalized for the past two months in one of Tokyo’s most prestigious rehabilitation centers—owned by his own father. The fact that his older siblings also worked there only worsened things, stripping him of what little privacy he had left. His life was lonely, colorless, and painfully controlled.
Until someone walked through the wrong door.
“Hey.” Dazai’s voice sounded unfamiliar even to his own ears. It had been a long time since he’d spoken to anyone. “This room’s taken, you’re in the wrong place.”
Chuuya’s eyes shifted toward the dark-haired boy. The defiant blue in his gaze softened into something more hesitant. “…Needles,” the child finally said. His voice was quiet, almost a whisper, as he tucked his face further between his knees. “They were going to give me an injection.”

Aka. Newly admitted to the hospital and running purely on survival instinct, Chuuya panics and accidentally stumbles into the room of Osamu Dazai, a suicidal menace and the rest is history.
