Yor slides the mask over her face. "I asked Shopkeeper about it once, actually. But he said that if I'm doing my job well, no one will be alive after the assignment to remember my face." She beams at him innocently.
Blinking, he looks away and continues to put on his mask. "Right."

“Tikki,” she breathes, words moving around her lips but barely making a sound. “What is this? W-who am I? When am I?
“You are still Marinette Dupain-Cheng,” Tikki says calmly. “You are still Ladybug, and you are still the Guardian of the Miraculous. You’ve just woken up ten years later.”
Or: Marinette wakes up in the body of her 24-year-old self in 2025, left to figure out how to get back to her own timeline while navigating the many confusing changes that come with the future. And yet, here she is, smiling at him.
He freezes at the sight of the second Anya.

"Oh," Anya's face turns to disappointment, and she climbs her stool again. "It's okay, Mama, it’s just Papa's thoughts having a crisis again."
The war is over. Twilight still fights one, this time inside his own head.

Ok. Bad icebreaker. It was stupid, but plan A in Marinette’s mind to avoid Chat Noir’s inevitable interrogation about this painfully awkward and life changing experience was to make a joke and pray they’d laugh and forget any of it ever happened. His lack of acknowledgement and that persistent look on his face immediately told Marinette that her plan was wishful thinking. As they all seem to be!
