Summary
Rio comes to collect on Agatha's soul. Together, they must walk a different Road. One that forces Agatha to confront, and possibly remember, who she really is.
Or, basically my attempt at filling in the gaps for a lot of the questions the show left open. What were Agatha and Rio like in the beginning? How did they conceive Nicholas? What did Evanora mean when she said Agatha was born evil? What did Rio mean when she said 'no one has had more chances than you'? Can Agatha and Rio actually find a way to love each other without the toxicity?
Plus little smut segments between the plot to ease the ache the angst leaves behind.

Summary
“Com—” Her voice cracks, and she clears her throat. “Come in!”
“Nice save,” Agatha whispers sarcastically.
“Shut up,” the girl snaps, whipping her head around to shoot Agatha a glare that could kill, hissing through her teeth.
Then, the door creaks open slowly, the sound dragging out in the thick silence. Every second feels like an eternity to Agatha, her heart pounding in her chest as she holds her breath, staring at the door. The anticipation is unbearable, the tension in the air palpable.
And then, she sees her.
Rio.

Summary
“I have one final question,” Agatha said, scaling the few paces between them and yanking Rio’s arm around, desperate this time, anger having faded entirely.
“Do you actually not understand how to count?” Rio sighed, tugging her arm away and stumbling towards the door. “I answered your three questions.”
“No,” Agatha hissed, stepping forward, one arm on either side of her, caging Rio until her back pressed against the wall. “You have to answer this question. This is the only one that matters.”
Rio raised her head, eyes glistening with unshed tears.
But she said nothing, so Agatha asked anyway.
“Do you love me?”

Summary
“We’re both lucky that Charles doesn’t give a damn about anything but drug busts,” Rio murmurs pointedly. “Neither of us need to go to court for a fucking domestic right now.”
“Oh, please, like any of that would hold up in court,” Agatha scoffs sharply. “That was the most illegal arrest I’ve ever seen, heard of, or been a part of, Special Agent.”
Rio glares at her. “Actually, it was quite legal. You physically assaulted a government agent.” Rio pauses, narrowing her eyes as she adds, “twice.”
“Maybe next time don’t lean into a purps car,” she advises with a light shrug. Rio stares at her, lip steadily bleeding. Shifting on her feet, Agatha clears her throat and tosses her hands in the air. Agatha looks at her as if to say, ‘what can you do?’.
“And then you bit me. . .?”
OR: Holiday themed fake dating AU meets the estranged wives who still yearn AU with a little bit of crime drama sprinkled in and more smut than I anticipated

“Compliant?” Rio stood slowly, her eyes never leaving Agatha’s face. The action put her inches away, her body heat radiating out, searing Agatha’s skin. “Obedient?”
Agatha’s hips shifted against her will, her lips parting slightly. She closed her eyes against the heady mortification that razed through her chest. She felt Rio move closer and she parted her legs without thought.
Rio stepped between them but didn’t touch, hands settling on the desk inches from Agatha’s hips and hands.
“You always were such a brat.” Rio’s breath was hot against Agatha’s ear, her voice throaty and raw and filthy. “You never knew how to do what you were told.”
Or: After five years away, a still-grieving Agatha is dragged back into the FBI and the arms of her ex-wife.
