It probably said something about Zoro that he was jealous of Law.
So repeatedly hearing his long-time rival/sort-of love interest passionately cuss out another man rubbed Zoro the wrong way, what of it? He took a deep inhale of the Cook’s scent in silent retaliation.
Anyways.
(Or: Zoro killed Sanji after the raid on Onigashima. Then he woke up on Sanji’s shoulder.)

Oh, Usopp thinks, as he drops a palm over the burning curl of Sanji’s shoulders. His eyes catch on the mangled mess they’ve made of his nakama’s chain-wrapped hands. I’m going to kill somebody.
Blood like thunder roars behind his ears. Somewhere over the rush, he can hear Sanji’s voice, frantic and tinny in the maw of such a cavernous space, his words crashing and looping into one another, all caught in the muzzle they’ve clamped over his mouth.

Summary
Finally leaving Wano brought more than just their physical scars to light. Sanji, not having had the chance to reconcile with anything that happened since Zou, started getting nightmares more and more frequently. But sometimes comfort can come in the most unlikely of forms — in Sanji's case, it winds up being a shitty, mossheaded swordsman that also knows a thing or two about being unable to sleep.
