Summary
Alpha Min and his son, Jimin, have always fared well enough on their own, but the omega pup is far past the expected age for his first heat. His doctor suggests that Yoongi adhere to the old ways and take on the role of Jimin's alpha to coax the omega's body into a regular cycle. Yoongi is willing to do whatever is necessary for the health and wellbeing of his son, but the more he and Jimin play at being mates, the less he feels capable of letting his omega pup go.
What neither of them realize is that Jimin's body has gone dormant from the fear of what his heat inevitably brings: an alpha to sweep him away and steal him from his father. With that fear assuaged by his sire's growing possessiveness and attention, it's only a matter of time before playing pretend doesn't satisfy either of them anymore.

“Do humans…do I have to court you, then?”
Jimin wasn’t able to stop the laugh this time. He let out a cackle, which he forced to turn into a less obnoxious giggle, more fitting of an omega. “I haven’t heard that term in forever. No, you don’t have to ‘court’ me. But you do have to get to know me, dummy. And I don’t mean just my body.”
Yoongi’s eyes narrowed.
“You’re a strange omega,” he said at last. -

In a post WWII village completely decimated by air raids, alpha Yoongi comes home from the war to find that his parents’ home has been turned to rubble. He doesn’t expect to find them gone and in their place, amongst the wreckage, a sleeping omega cradling a baby girl.

Summary
During the winter solstice the Moon Pack celebrates with a festival. A tradition has sprouted over the centuries. The paintings of wishes. Every year during the solstice, pack members paint a symbol from nature that represents what they want in the new year onto their skin. For the wish to be granted the member and painting must bathe in the moonlight.
This winter solstice omega Park Jimin is painting himself with ivy leaves as a way to wish for a mate. The plant represents everything he wants in a mate: devotion, fidelity and loyalty. During the festival he sheds his furs to let the Moon know his wish.
At the end of the festival they have the feast dedicated to the omegas before they are sent into hibernation. During the feast, it is customary for the pack alpha to speak. Jimin watches closely as Pack Alpha Min Yoongi delivers his speech. At the end, when the man raises his cup in a toast, his furs fall from his arm revealing a small ivy leaf painted in a different style then the oak tree on his chest.
