They don't know it yet, but while Dragon's Edge rises from timber and stone, others are beginning to take notice of the dragons filling the skies above the archipelago.
For now, the greatest threat facing Dragon's Edge is obviously a lack of soap, an overabundance of fish, and whatever the twins are doing.

Hiccup is different than the other merfolk in his pod and he doesn't know why. He can't swim as fast, his tail cramps and seizes, he can feel the cold at certain depths while the others can't, among other things. Toothless, a water dragon, helps him get around while he finds himself fascinated by humans and their creations...and when he catches sight of a certain blonde princess, his life will never be the same.
