Summary
Hajime and Co. are sent to the real Jabberwock Island for proper rehabilitation by the future foundation hike they finish cleaning up the literal apocalypse.
While Nagito deals with his crippling self worth, Hajime cant seem to deal with his feelings about him properly, and neither seem to be able to properly grieve Chiaki.
While Mikan can’t seem to understand why anyone would have any sort of love in their hearts for her, Ibuki cant seem to understand why anyone wouldn’t.
Among others, they all seem to be dealing with their own issues, and this time, with no real way to get away with a murder, their forced to confront their emotions like the adults they dont fully remember becoming.

Nagito shifted under the covers. "Do you know René Descartes?"
“I guess.” Hajime furrowed his brows. “Cogito ergo sum.”
“Yes, cogito ergo sum.” Nagito echoed, “It’s a philosophical concept he reached by locking himself up in a room away from all distractions from society. Traditions, customs, obscurantism. His goal was to start from zero. Rebuild his whole philosophy from what he knew to be real. That’s where his first conclusion came from. I think therefore I am.”
“So... you’re changing your philosophy, then? What’s your new take on hope and despair?”
“I don’t know, Hinata-kun...” Nagito smothered himself with his own pillow. “So far, I’ve just been sleeping.”
After the Neo World Program, Nagito Komaeda poses as a philosopher by drowning in guilt and painkillers and locking himself up in a room until everyone hopefully forgets about his miserable existence. Unfortunately for him, Hajime Hinata doesn't mind playing philosopher with him and clearly plans on doing something about his state.
