Dazai’s eyes drop to the phone held in Ranpo’s tight grip to the uncompromising set of his jaw, mentally weighting his options.
“That’s fair,” he huffs, holding up his palm in a ‘gimme’ motion. “I guess if it’s Ranpo-san, I can make an exception.”
Or, Ranpo is the only member of the Agency Dazai is not allowed to ignore or hang up on. Naturally, when the day finally comes, Ranpo knows, with inevitable dread, to expect the worst. He's right to.

Summary

It was a seventeen year old him! Oh no! Hopefully this didn’t turn into a time paradox.
Younger versions of Feng Xin and Mu Qing were walking by his side. Mu Qing sneered almost ready to throw insults at who had knocked their prince over. But when both attendants saw his face they stilled.
