Shocked Jason abandons look out because at least if someone attacks them that would make sense unlike everything else currently happening. “The fuck did he just say?” Jason asks positive he must have just heard wrong there is no way this guy could know who Nightwing is.

Summary
Peter would consider himself almost an expert at dealing with sudden biological changes to his person.
Peter, additionally, hadn't considered this knowledge would ever come in handy again.
Forceful dimension hopping sucks bad.
Opening his eyes in a world where his DNA had been rewritten for the second time in five years, he does his best to figure out the norm of this new reality. Getting home before his dad rips a hole in the space-time continuum to find him would be nice. But then he meets some weird men who make his new-found instincts sing and that might put a wrench in his plans.
Peter might have a thing for guys who growl.
This is one of the least disturbing things he learns, somehow.

“So, what spurred you to ask for this again?” Miguel tilts his head and places his knees on either side of Peter’s hips so that he sits on his thighs. “Surely it wasn’t just a random thought.”
Peter shrugs as much as he can in his position. “I mean, you really did seem stressed. That last anomaly was a pain in the ass and you were plucking hair like you wanted to go bald.” Peter raises his eyebrow at him and smirks. “Plus… that comment. The one about being able to ‘name every bone in your body’.”
Miguel chuckles, a baritone and raspy noise Peter hadn’t heard in a while. “Dios, you mean the one where I was clearly insulting you?” When Peter only responds with a sheepish grin, he continues. “What? Did you want proof? I would hardly consider this an appropriate approach...”
